A wedding content creator films and photographs your day specifically for social media — vertical reels, candid clips and scroll-stopping photos shot on iPhone. Unlike a traditional photographer or videographer who delivers a polished gallery or film weeks later, a content creator delivers raw footage the same day and edited, social-ready reels the next morning, so you can post and relive your day while it's still fresh.
What's the difference between a content creator and my photographer or videographer?
Your photographer captures forever; a content creator captures right now. The photographer and videographer produce the timeless, formal keepsakes. The Events Archive works alongside them, focused entirely on the in-between, behind-the-veil moments — getting ready, first looks, candid laughter — delivered fast and formatted for Instagram, TikTok and Reels. The two roles complement each other rather than compete.
How much does a wedding content creator cost on Long Island?
The Events Archive offers a Short-Day Package at $1,200 (up to 4 hours and 4 edited videos), a Half-Day Package at $1,600 (up to 6 hours and 8 edited videos), and a Full-Day Package at $2,800 (up to 10 hours and 16 edited videos). Bar & Bat Mitzvah and Sweet 16 coverage starts at $1,200. Add-ons include extra locations (+$75), additional coverage time (+$125/hour), extra edited videos (+$125 each) and aerial drone coverage (+$300).
When will I receive my reels and footage?
All raw footage is delivered the same day, often by AirDrop before the night is over. Your custom edited videos are delivered within 3 to 7 business days, with priority editing available on the Half-Day and Full-Day packages.
What areas do you serve?
The Events Archive is based in Hewlett, NY in the Five Towns and covers all of Long Island, including Nassau County, Suffolk County and the Hamptons, plus New York City — Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Travel beyond the local area is available; travel fees may apply for locations outside the local region.
Do you cover Bar & Bat Mitzvahs and Sweet 16s?
Yes. Alongside weddings, we offer an all-inclusive Bar / Bat Mitzvah & Sweet 16 content package: up to 4 hours of filming, 6 professionally edited videos, trending audio and music integration, same-day raw footage and a pre-event planning consultation, starting at $1,200.
Why do you film on iPhone?
iPhone footage is what social platforms are built for — native vertical video that looks authentic and posts instantly, without the heavy, formal feel of cinema cameras. It lets us stay close and unobtrusive, capture genuine candid moments, and turn footage around overnight so your content is ready while the day is still trending.
How far in advance should I book?
Dates fill quickly during peak wedding season, so we recommend reserving as early as you have your date and venue. Reach out with both and you'll receive availability, a custom proposal and sample reels from recent events.
